Colorado Graduation Gifts

Graduation is a primary life event for anyone. Whether graduating from associate's program or earning a major certificate, graduation is an accomplishment worth commemorating. In the United States, about 57% of the population between the ages of 3 and 34 are enrolled in some type of degree program. Whether attending nursing school, medical school, or elementary school, these people are taking measures toward a better future. Of this 57%, only a few will indeed graduate from high school and then of course postsecondary institutions as well. In 2009, 8.1% of High School Students dropped out of class without graduating. Of those who had began as Freshman in the class of 2006, about 75% graduated. When investigating Postsecondary Schools, the number of students who graduate are even smaller. In 2001, 38% of approved students of 2 year institutions graduated along side 65% from 4 year institutions. This confirms that it takes much work and commitment to obtain an education and this is why we should recognize those who see it through. A friend of mine recently moved from Rhode Island to Colorado to complete his education half way across the country. He is fortunate to attend a university with several campuses nationally which allows him to transfer his credits without restraint from one state to another. He didn't leave because he was unhappy with the city in Rhode Island or in order to find a new social scene. His sole reason for heading to Colorado was so that his family in California could go to his graduation ceremony. My friend is from a large Mexican family and he is the first among them to graduate from university. For his family this means there will be a huge party that may last several days. Not only will he be surrounded by family and lots of food and music, but he can count on the generosity of gifts. Gift giving is an important part of any graduation celebration, because it grants family and friends an opportunity to tell the graduate that they are proud of them. Giving gifts is a form of showing that you support what the graduate is doing for their self as they plan for their future. As the graduation season approaches, remember the value of the words “Congratulations!” Whether conveyed with money, presents useful for a future career, or a custom made Snack Attack Gift Basket , recognition for a job well done means just as much as the self satisfaction a graduate gets from their the completion of their work. snack food gift basketA perfect selection of Snack Food in a Basket.
